1. Who we are

Waggle Watch is operated by DWJH Limited, referred to in this policy as “we”, “us”, or “our”. We are the data controller for personal data processed through this service.

2. What data we collect

We collect the following data when you use Waggle Watch:

• Account information — your email address and a hashed password.
• Pet health records — information you enter about your pets, including seizure logs (time, duration, severity, symptoms), medications and dose changes, supplements, diet entries, and general events.
• Billing data — your email address is shared with Stripe to set up and manage your subscription. We do not store your card details; these are held securely by Stripe.
• Technical data — IP address and browser information logged automatically by our infrastructure provider as part of standard server operations. We do not use analytics cookies or tracking scripts.

3. Why we collect it

We use your data solely to provide the Waggle Watch service: storing and displaying your pet health records, generating vet reports, and managing your subscription.

We do not sell your data. We do not use it for advertising. We do not share it with third parties except as described in Section 5.

4. Legal basis (UK GDPR)

• Contractual necessity — processing your account email and pet health records is necessary to provide the service you signed up for.
• Legitimate interests — we retain basic server logs to maintain security and diagnose issues.

5. Data processors

We use the following third-party processors to deliver the service. Each has a data processing agreement in place.

• Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage. Data is stored in the EU region. Privacy policy: supabase.com/privacy.
• Stripe — payment processing. We share your email address to create a billing account. We do not share your pet health records with Stripe. Stripe’s privacy policy: stripe.com/gb/privacy.

6. Data retention

Your account and all associated pet health records are retained for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, we will delete your data within 30 days. Some anonymised technical logs may be retained for up to 90 days for security purposes.

7. Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

• Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Rectification — correct inaccurate data.
• Erasure — request deletion of your data.
• Portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format.
• Restriction — request that we limit processing in certain circumstances.
• Objection — object to processing based on legitimate interests.

8. Cookies

Waggle Watch uses a single session cookie to keep you signed in. This cookie is strictly necessary for the service to function. We do not use analytics cookies, advertising cookies, or any third-party tracking scripts.

9. Children

Waggle Watch is not intended for use by anyone under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
